under 1 ctw eternity ring diamonds- what''s most important?

I''m researching eternity bands under 1 ctw and there is such a wide variation in price; I assume this has to do with variations in the diamond quality. what shouid I be looking for to ensure the most sparkle from these smaller sized diamonds?

There is no cert grading of melee diamonds, but there is variation in melee quality. The less expensive ones may use commercial grade, which is ok but not great.

I think the simplest thing is to choose a vendor whith known quality.
