I’ve always wanted a cluster ring. I think they can be so pretty.

I’ve found two I may be interested but they are so different that I don’t know which to pick.

The yellow gold ring on the left has 7 OEC cut diamonds. The total carat weight is about 1/3 of a carat.

I know the OEC cut is well-liked and they can be known for their sparkle.

The white gold cluster ring on the right is about .50ctw, so more finger coverage. And I have a size 5 finger.

Not sure of the cut of the stones on this one although it looks to be newer than the OEC, which may be antique..?

Please give me your opinions:twirl:D1211BB6-C0C7-4671-90F5-C1ED4F754A30.jpegD1211BB6-C0C7-4671-90F5-C1ED4F754A30.jpeg

I can’t see the faceting in the pics of the right one. Can they take a better close up straight on of the ring? A side profile pic would be nice, too.

Agree with you, the right one looks to be newer than the left one. Both are pretty. Do you think you are more likely to wear Y or W gold?

Do you mind me asking what your budget for a cluster ring is?
Preferred metal, carat weight? Are you aiming for old European cut?

I'd be happy to look for you.

Same. Would be happy to hunt.

Me too!

Out of the 2 you posted, I think I lean towards the antique one...I really like that setting. The larger one is a bit more modern I think. They are both very pretty.

Btw I just wanted to say that there is nothing wrong with these two clusters, I would pick the OEC one myself. However it's always fun to shop and sometimes you think you looked everywhere wnd then discover a new possibility :D

Never tried on a cluster ring so I don’t know how I’ll truly like one until I get it. So for my first one, my budget is $2,000.

1 carat or less for the carat weight. I mostly am concerned with the stones being sparkly. OEC, yes. OMC would be even better. :mrgreen2:

I would try to get some better closer pictures but the good news is that they do take returns. I will keep looking.

This one is slightly over budget but the center is a sizable OEC and would probably be easy to resize since you are going down less than a whole size:

Thank you for all these links!

Don’t know if you are up for a project but I have a diamond cluster stickpin I planned to convert and haven’t done anything with it. My contact info is on LT if you want more info. And, as long as you aren’t in a rush as we are distancing at our second home and the pin is at the primary home).

@kgizo, if the OP passes I would appreciate being next in line for the cluster pin :D

Saw this on Etsy while I was looking for something else and thought of this thread.

Re Winnietucker's ring she posted, I have bought from them before and was very happy. Their pictures leave a lot to be desired

I’m not looking for a project at the moment, but thank you. That pin is indeed gorgeous:love:

No worries. Found this one on etsy that is close to your size and well within budget.

The YG ring is beautiful, but it looks a little bit like a blob to me. The white gold ring looks like a flower; the stones are placed in a way that is more symmetrical. I have a vintage cluster ring, and I love it, but the symmetry of the diamonds is slightly off, and it bothers me. I really like the Etsy ring, above.

Something to be aware of with the Etsy ring is I think it might be chipped.

I would verify before purchase, it is a really pretty ring though.
