I have about 350 lbs of uncut rubies and wonder what they are worth?

Depends on the size of each piece of rough, the clarity (transparent or opaque), the shape, and the colour.

Depending on the quality, anywhere from about $50 to $400,000,000

Since:
1. The OP bought 350 pound of 'rubies' with no clue as to value
2. (S)he is asking on this forum

...I'd say $50, if even that much ... or, about 0.01% of what the OP paid for them.

I actually didn't intend for it to be funny. I am in Tucson right now, and there are some shows where rough stones are sold by the 55 gal drum. These are "rocks", and can never cut faceted into a gemstone. Then on the opposite spectrum are fine facet grade material. The price difference is a vast as what I indicated.

Usually when someone comments that they have X pounds of material, it falls into the 55 gal drum variety. When they say they have X grams, well then it becomes more interesting.
