Uncompromising Upgrade - D VVS in Vatche platinum from GOG

This ring belongs to my stepmother. Setting is Vatche platinum, don't remember exact specifications, 0.8 carats and change, D colour VVS clarity ideal hearts and arrows from GOG. David and the team were very patient as she changed her mind a few times.

Size 6.5 setting on my middle left finger. She's going to love it. Everything is perfect. I'll take some better photos when I'm not running between meetings. I've never seen such a high quality diamond and ring before.

She loves her ring. We went to Tiffany and picked out a band that matches perfectly. It matches even better than any of the Tiffany e-rings.

This is her set. It's stunning and she loves it. I think anyone considering a 'brand' e-ring would do well to choose a wedding ring instead and put the difference towards a better quality e-ring from a top vendor. Her ring was far more beautiful than any of the Tiffany in my opinion, and better value. She's already planning the upgrade.

Is your stepmother still enjoying her gorgeous new rings? I LOVE her set - and that Vatche setting is just sublime! On PS, living in the real world as we do, we're always trading off size with color with clarity - looking for the best deal we can find - and rightly so! But how AWESOME it would be to own a diamond with these specs! Stunning!

And does anyone know which specific setting this is? It's lovely!

Upgrade is in the 1.5 ct range, E VS1 or higher, no compromises. If only the right stones was out there in budget, we have to buy a whole new Vatche setting.

When we were last together on vacation I got to meet many extended family members on my stepmother's side which was wonderful. Sorry I didn't I think to photograph her gorgeous jewelry, quality family time is the most precious of all.
