I have been interested in other stones of his, but the website doesn't indicate if anything is sold, and the many times I emailed him, no response. Is it just me with this problem? Does he only sell to the trade? What is up with this?

I've also tried both his emails. Ugh!

really!! are you seriously thinking about getting it? it is SO pretty!!!

i showed it to my husband and asked him to guess the price. he said something like $800. i showed him the price and he said, you will not own a gemstone that costs more than my car. LOL!

Haha, my engagement ring cost more than my dad's first car. But his first car was a really beat up volvo that had a chunk of floor missing..

He's definitely out of my budget at the moment, cool as his designs are.

LOL - yeah, it''s a weird color. On my monitor it''s something closer to light mauve with highlights; but the cut is...hypnotizing!

We have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata, so it''s not a beater or anything.

I remember being fascinated by his barion pear citrine - not sure if it''s still available. And it wasn''t because of the color, but because of the cutting, which made it look quite similar to some diamonds. Like it was full of confetti!

I sent him a lengthy email with polite requests for some pricing estimates on having some stones cut - and
got a one line reply:

"I do nto custome cut for people. I sell rough mostle" (sp. not mine).

Huh??? I don''t understand - than who does he cut these gems for, and why are there many on the site
that say they were sold.

This is very confusing, and yes quite frustrating.


Can anybody who has a real interaction or done business with Jeff please elaborate?

Oh and to those that asked, no the colour would not be my first choice, but the cut is awesome

I do like how the purples and different shades relect around

Jeff Graham is absolutely wonderful.

He publishes a lot of facetting books with his designs. I have asked a cutter to cut a spess for me in his octagonal lace design. The cutter ordered the book and did it (looks great!).
