Ultrasonic Cleaning

Should I consider buying an ultrasonic cleaner for a diamond ring that I am sure is going to get hit with hair spray, lotion, and salt water? By the way, I have a story to tell, but I am waiting untill the deed is done (3.5 weeks!) I will have pictures and a story about my 6 month journey that began miserably but eventually led me to the perfect stone and setting...hint the supplier's name begins with dirt and ends with cheapdiamonds.
