Some of you may know the whole ring fiasco so as a pick-me-up my husband (so weird to call him that!) upgraded my Tiffany studs from the .10cttw to the .47cttw. I am shocked at the size difference.

They are G, SI1 in platinum...here are a few pics!

Now I am just hoping a larger pendant (I have the small one, .10ct I think) for perhaps Christmas or a 1-year anniversary (this of course is an add to my long wish of diamond/jewelry projects I have lined up)....

Fiasco was that the Legacy turned out to be a lower color grade, so I traded it back for my EC. I didn''t mind it if were an "H" but when I found out it was an "I" had a problem

Since my Asscher was an "I" and I could see color after some time....

It felt like a poor trade (my EC and money---for the Legacy). He kindly traded back. Still, I am left with the EC after LOVING the Legacy (could be worse though!!!)

I thought Tiffany''s won''t sell anything below a VS2 clarity grade?

That is what I thought too, but the SA said they do now for certain items (but not e-rings, etc.). I swear I bought them at the store :) :) :) :)

I thought Tiffany''s won''t sell anything below a VS2 clarity grade?
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I''ve had my eye on the .10ctw babies for quite some time. When I was there in May, the SA told me they offer these earrings in only in VS with the color of G. But that is for the .10''s.

Im a little shocked by that because they always say "Tiffany will only sell diamonds of VS2 or better" But the website does say "Tiffany customarily rejects all diamonds of SI1 or below" So maybe this was an exception. If you check the site, it doesn''t say they sell it in the size .47 so maybe its something new?

Either way, they are beautiful! I''ve always wanted these earrings.........

You lucky girl you!

Dreamgirl-They sell thousands of different sizes of these earrings. .10cttw is the smallest....but I looked at .27cttw, .40cttw, .47cttw .53cttw....The website just lists a few sizes (which is a bummer!). I was shocked with the SI1s...but happy (since I got slightly larger stones).
