What would typical dimensions of a round brilliant cut diamond be?

Like 6mm x 6mm x 4.5mm?

I just need typical, general dimensions.

Thanks.

It depends on the carat weight, but if your looking at good cuts, check the pricescope search above, put in your desired carat weight with H&A checked off, and look at what comes up. Remember though, table, crown and pavilion measurements are WAY more important and if those numbers are good then your width and total depth will be good too.

Oh yea I forgot the carat weight, I did a search and it looks like a 1ct should be 6.5mm.

What do the three dimensions stand for?

I take it that the first one is the width. What about the other 2?

A well-cut 1c diamond should be 6.5mm x 4mm.

You may see a stone has numbers along the lines of 6.47 - 6.52 x 3.98mm.

That means that the stone's round diameter has a range of 6.47 to 6.52. You want that diameter range to be small rather than large...asmaller range of diameter numbers means the stone is more truly round...a larger range means that the stone may be what is typically called 'out of round'. If the range is very large, it probably means the stone may be visibly not round and you definitely don't want that in a 'round brilliant'.

The 3rd number is the depth of the stone.
