DBT, i would say 6-prong (second ring), just because I love them...totally personal preference. i think your diamond would look beautiful either way.

I love the second one. I''d go with it over the first one for sure.

The first is not that much smaller - the picture makes it look that way - just because the prongs are that much thiker and appear comparable in size to the band. This ring is about 3mm wide (2.7mm) and the four prongs are HUGE compared to the second ring (that does not have measurements).

You can always ask DCD how wide the second style is - but no, the setting is not a havy one at all.

the second setting, 6 prong

It looks like I''m going against the grain on this one lol! I prefer #1...I like the simple tiffany setting. That is what I have only mine has a 6 prong platinum crown, and I do like 6 prongs better than 4. IMO, 4 prongs can make a RB have a square look.

I just don''t care for the crown on #2...I don''t think it shows the diamond off as much.

Thanks...It was sent to me via email, only I had to edit it a little because it had a few four letters that probably wouldn''t be appropriate here! Those worlds definately gave it more "punch"! LOL!

I vote for #2 as well.

Number 2~!~!~!~!~!

Another vote for number two here!

I was going to get my fiancee #1,... until I saw the #2 in person at the Tiffany''s store here in Chicago. After that, DEFINITELY #2. I showed these 2 rings to a couple girls and they said the same thing: definitely #2.
