Two Old mine cut diamonds 1 carat each F-G color, VS2-SI1

Hello,

I am new to this so I hope I get it right. Have two gorgeous old mine cut diamonds that I have to sell. Approximatley 1 carat each, F-G color, VS2-SI1, One was cut around 1870-1880 and the other around 1900. Have been offfered $5000 for the pair by a jeweler but feel this is to low. HELP!!!!!! Thank you for your time.

This website claims to make a market in Old Minecut diamonds. I know nothing about them, though. Whenever I deal with somebody I met over the web, I ask them for references before proceeding. If they're on the up and up, they'll have no problem with that. (I call the references, too).
