I don''t know how I ended up with these, but my grandma (grammy

) said to keep them because all she wears now is a wide wedding band. The first is her actual engagement ring, which must be from the mid 1950''s. I''m not sure what year she and my grandpa got married, but she graduated in 52 (I also have her class ring) and my mom was born in 57, so somewhere in between. The second is one she said he bought her, just because she liked it. If you look SUPER close, you could technically call it a three-stone, because there are the teensiest little chips I''ve ever seen on each side of the middle teensy chip! I LOVE these rings, with their small little stones and when I wear them I get MANY MANY compliments on how beautiful they are. My grandma also happens to be the sweetest, most thoughtful, caring, and selfless lady I''ve ever known so I am super proud to get to wear these. I usually wear one or the other on my right hand, but since my engagement ring is being sent to Whiteflash for a recut, I''ll be wearing these in it''s place on my left hand too! Hope you enjoy!

Those are beautiful!!!!I love them both!!!!

How lovely that your grammy gave you her rings to enjoy while she''s still around to see you wear them! Have you ever tried stacking both rings? Like with the centers off set, sort of like a double stone ring? Since they''re both quite similar in style it might work...! Enjoy...

What a treasure!

Oh my goodness - they are beautiful! I love the shank on the engagement ring. How sweet of your grammy.

Surfgirl I have actually worn them that way before but they''re the slightest bit big so they move around too much. I do like that look though!

Your grandmother''s rings are lovely!! I have a few of my grandmother''s rings myself and I find they are my favorites. It is so nice to have treasures like their rings.

Great rings. The swirly design of the 1st one is very unique, no wonder you get comments on it.

I love "antique" pieces like your Grammy''s - and how sweet to let you have them! They''re just lovely!

Gorgeous!!

Very pretty!

Thanks for your responses everybody! I have spent countless hours admiring all the pricescopers'' gorgeous rings, so it''s lots of fun when I get to post my own. It''s a great way to waste (subjective word

I love looking at this kind of stuff too, even as much as I love looking at the huge breathtaking rocks around here, so I''m glad you enjoy them.
