... and another fav of mine is guitars from Martin, started in 1833!:clap::clap::dance::dance::clap::clap:
I have two Martins in my guitar herd.

To celebrate Martin's 2.5 MILLIONTH guitar ...

my son prefers Martin's as well...I think he also has 2 of them....actually there is one in my living room right now, he normally keeps it at his business, but he brought it home on Saturday, I assume he will take it back today....

How very cool to have a guitar at work, and a Martin at that!

Mr. Garnetgirl says “ wow, very interesting. Thanks. I own one Martin, a D28 Madagascar Rosewood. Beautiful instrument.”

1965 00018.
Interesting story….. a guy traded this for a diamond ring. Sorry. I think I got the better end of the deal.
It was about 12 years ago. This guitar doubled in value during that time. It’s a joy to play:)

How very cool to have a guitar at work,
Current inventory at Rock Diamond:
1998 Gibson Les Paul ( SG) - re-issue of 1960 LP ( hanging not 3 feet from my head)
1964 Martin 00018
1961 Gibson Les Paul Junior
2001 Lamar Single 10 Pedal Steel guitar
2023 Squier Precision Bass
1970 Dan Armstrong Fretless Lucite bass
1984 Fender Pro Reverb Amp
2023 Accoustic B50 bass amp

It's not called ROCK diamond for nothing:)
We frequently have jam sessions here....believe it or not my diamond neighbors love it and sometimes come in to listen.
Also, I have equipment here so that I can record tracks- primarily pedal steel.
It's so easy to collaborate these days. A buddy sends me the tracks, and I record my part, and send him back WAV files
