Two for the price of one!

I had recently reset my OEC, but as much as I love the setting, I always longed for an art deco setting. So, I came upon the setting that I wanted, with the bonus that it already had this .65 lemony tranny.

I didn't want to have two rings, so I decided to swap out my .91 carat into this setting. Here it is:


And what do with my lemony .65? I set it into this pendant!


And I'm so excited because I have two new pieces!

Those are lovely. Its a great example of how the color of the metal affects the overall look and color of the stone, because the diamond in the pendant looks positively yellow.

Yes, it really does! I wanted to celebrate the color. My jeweler asked me if I wanted to rhodium dip it to white, but I absolutely refused.

This .65 pendant is the largest pendant I have owned, so I'm quite ecstatic, and I am super happy because I found the setting for it in my estate jeweler's scrap pile! She gave it to me at gold weight and wished me luck in having someone repair it, so I feel like I rescued it!
