Here are a couple of diamonds from James Allen that I found through the Pricescope search. Is one better than the other? Also, I was hoping to purchase an F color but there seems to be such a discount for a G. Will I be able to see ANY difference with my naked eye? Also, is the James Allen Ideal cut a good one? Since they have the Hearts and Arrows as their premiere cut would I be buying something thats not the best? Thanks for your help and I have listed the two diamonds specifications below.

I really like the look of the second diamond and I prefer it as it isn't quite as deep as the first, but they both look good! As to the difference between a like graded F and G colour, I very much doubt you would see any difference between them or tell which is which. These diamonds both look like excellent contenders and as superbly cut as you could wish for, and both AGS0 to boot! You could see if there are Idealscope images to confirm the numbers, although with a vendor like JA and those numbers, in my opinion it wouldn't be a deal breaker if not available. I think you could pick either and be delighted.

I ditto Miss Lorelei.

Unless one is highly color sensitive, a G will appear quite colorless. And this is a nice cut stone, should be pretty.

Wow, both are really nice stones. Its your pick but I''ll choose the 2nd stone too because it''s just a tad less deep and larger. A G will most likely look just like an F side by side (looking down the table).
