- Do you have the photographs for each please
- dimension such as depth and table % and type of lab reports
- the crown height obtained from a Sarin scan.

If you could post that too it would be very helpful.

You could ask the vendor to run a Sarin scan to get the crown height, this is a useful measurement to have and one that Karl likes to have ( our asscher specialist!)

This one is showing distinct darkness in the photo, that would need careful checking.

I ain't no expert asscher shopper (fortunately I bought mine back when Strm (KarlK) not in the industry and was more free to speak his mind) but those both have too much too green under the table for me.

A good asscher pattern pulls you into the center with contrasting steps.

The three colors in an ASET pic are the result of light entering the diamond from three different angle ranges, from the side, from up, and in between.
You want alternating colors, especially near the culet, or the center.
The variation gives an asscher depth and strengthens the hall of mirrors effect.

I sure wish picking asscher was not so strm-dependent.
He has graciously written wonderfully informative posts and even articles for PS but still the prosumers (and pros) are mostly silent and defer to him on asschers.

I realize step cuts are too complex for an HCA but I long for tools and more guidelines on how to interpret pics, natural and IS and ASET.

have the ch yet?

The over green in the aset looks like more a result of the camera setup than the stones.
The over dark in the second real picture is a result of a bad picture.
so basically you have 3 pieces of so-so info.

That said the second one shows more promise but need the CH.

See what Karl says, it looks like it is showing obstruction and it looks dark in the photo, out of the three I prefer the second stone.
