Tweets from a lunatic

Lawrence O'Donnell is a partisan hack in "news" clothing. Empty barrel means "ignorance" and stretching it to racism is disgusting. Frankly this whole effing thing politicizing the death of a soldier is so utterly disgusting that I cannot stand it any longer. Everyone is to blame and I had hoped that Gen. Kelly's speech yesterday would put an end to the BS in the news. But oh no that sick congresswoman using this family doubled down and now all the others jumping on as well. Sick farking disgusting people. They can all kiss my rosy red a$$. Trump should have shut up as well.

None of this is directed at you Deb. But I am pissed.

If you get rid of the extraneous noise and all the political hacks, Sgt. Johnson's mother said she and her family felt disrespected by Trump during the phone call. That should be the only thing that mattered. And that should have prompted an apology or explanation from the White House if not Trump directly -- even if there was no disrespect intended. And that would have settled the damn matter. Except Trump never apologizes and only doubled down with attacks.

Nope. Not going to put race in this one. Are you suggesting that Trump had a completely different call with the other 3 families because they are white?

Oh my word, yes! His disrespect for that family was oozing out of his every pore!!! He respects no one except white men whose wealth exceeds his own. It was rumored for months that he held Rex Tillerson in some awe because he was wealthier than Trump. Even now he has not dared to treat Tillerson with the contempt he has used against so many other cabinet members or, indeed, legislators. But his contempt for people of color is flagrant! Look at how he has treated Puerto Rico as opposed to Texas and Forida in the aftermath of this season's hurricanes. Look at his support for white supremacy. Look at how he has picked on the black NFL and NBA players who support "taking a knee". Do you have the slightest doubt that he holds African-Americans in contempt?

I am not going to attempt to address all of that. We don't agree on this. :wavey:

I love how whenever the media calls out Trump on his BS its called "politicizing" and is bad lolol. Like, its the president, pretty sure he's politicizing it himself, being that he is in politics? And of course his supporters have no legitimate rebuttal, so surprised :twirl:

You should know by now that you can't win against the left here, but I'd give you credit for trying...:wavey:

I am not trying to win anything. There are things that are not worth discussing on this forum because of the level of vitriol that ensues.

Nope. Not going to put race in this one. Are you suggesting that Trump had a completely different intent in his call with the other 3 families because they are white? No I see this partisan hack of a woman using this family and Kelly calling her on it. We will agree to disagree on this one. I will admit that Kelly should have left the Florida FBI thing out of it but will also say that he is angry at the politicization of this particular death. Why nothing from any of the 3 families? Because they are grieving and have no agenda.

I almost pissed myself from laughing so hard!!! Can I live in denial with you? It would be so much easier at this point..

So much easier than knowing our current president is a racist and a sexist. And that he thinks it's ok to say such an incredibly dickish thing to a grieving family. And thinks it's ok to grab women by the pussy since he's a celebrity - you know...since us women cannot help ourselves with our desire since he has soooooo much money. So much easier than knowing he blames PR for their mess after being hit by a f*cking hurricane. Easier than knowing he backs white supremacists.

Yep....I'd so much rather be in denial.

Oh look, the government of another country also thinks he's racist. Those in denial must think the rest of us are delusional.

In the past I would have encouraged you to try to argue, but now I believe I have gained some perspective. I would rather be on cordial terms with you (which I believe was your choice, too). It is not that I am afraid to hash things out, but we have already done that. Enough is enough. Or, in my opinion, it is. And it appears to be that it is in yours, too. (I don't mean I will stop my political activity and I know you will not stop yours. I just mean that "yelling at" each other when we like and respect each other does no one any good.)

Deb :wavey:

I am sure that you and I could actually have a decent respectful conversation about it. Just not worth it to me when others are incapable. We all see the world through our own various glasses and experiences. Best wishes as always to you my friend.

Video proves that Kelly lied about Congresswoman Wilson's speech

The WH is doubling down on his lie, because the truth doesn't matter anymore. They're not lies, they're 'alternative truths.'

I actually had a shred of hope invested in Kelly. No longer. You have to have some pretty big stones to walk out and scold OTHERS for things his boss has done unapologetically since day 1. Disgusting and disappointing. But, that's every single day with this administration.

@ABKIS If you find out how to get to this denial place can you please, please let me know. I too would love to live in an alternate state where the biggest jerk to ever be in politics looks like a wonderful president. I have no idea how to get to this place but what do I know, I'm just a sacred woman.

@E B @AGBF I could not agree more with your thoughts.

@kenny there have been many days the past 9 months where I feel like I have that nail stuck in my head, especially after speaking with my father. The first few months Girl Scout cookies helped a little but then I ran out of clothes I could fit into and had to stop.

Give the Scotch a shot, or three.

We are talking about Trump @kenny . I don't even drink and I think 7 shots would not be enough.

Then the frontal lobotomy is the only way.
Clearly millions of Americans have had one.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that Bush and Obama's comments yesterday were not directed at Trump because they didn't say Trump's name. Could this woman be more delusional??? LOL

No, but Cheeto fans are.

I cant listen to a word she says (nor barely stand looking at her weird face), but dang, her makeup is on point today. I need a WH MUA at my disposal!

I think it is unsisterly to make fun of other women for things related to their appearance, but I have to admit that Sarah Sanders' makeover has started to irk me. I really should (and to some extent do) feel sympathetic to her that she has had to redo her image because she works for that maniac, Trump. But dressed up as she now is, she reminds me of an awkward little girl in her mother's make-up and false eyelashes. I expect her to blink and for the eyelashes to fall out. I hate Trump for doing that to her. Much as I dislike the message she (willingly) delivers, she didn't deserve this humiliation. I think Scaramucci and Trump cooked up her makeover while the former was "communications director".

Totally fair, and I don't disagree. But I can admire a good MUA, and her's is awesome. Probably costs a fortune. All funded by tax payers!

Should I admit that I had to look up "MUA" to find out it stood for "make-up artist"? Too late now. Cat's out of the bag!

That make-up and hair person was left over from the Scaramucci "era" :lol-2:

I felt sorry for her after Scaramucci made comments about makeup on the Sunday morning news show. She clearly didn't wear much make before and I felt as though they were making her do sonething she wasn't comfortable with. If you like wearing makeup I can't imagine you wanting to be front of the world without it. I no longer have any sympathy for this her. She goes in front of the press everyday telling one lie after another. She doesn't seem to have a problem with lying at all. If she didn't want to wear makeup she could say so.

I wish I had her MUA too @telephone89

After Video Refutes Kelly’s Charges, Congresswoman Raises Issue of Race
By YAMICHE ALCINDOR and MICHAEL D. SHEAR OCT. 20, 2017

"WASHINGTON — Video of a 2015 speech delivered by Representative Frederica S. Wilson revealed Friday that John F. Kelly, the White House chief of staff, misrepresented her remarks when he accused her of bragging about securing $20 million for a South Florida F.B.I. building and twisting President Barack Obama’s arm.

Mr. Kelly, escalating a feud between Mr. Trump and Ms. Wilson, had cast the congresswoman on Thursday as a publicity-seeking opportunist. However, the video, released by The Sun Sentinel, a newspaper in South Florida, showed that during her nine-minute speech, Ms. Wilson never took credit for getting the money for the building, only for helping pass legislation naming the building after two fallen federal agents.

She never mentioned pleading with Mr. Obama, and she acknowledged the help of several Republicans, including John A. Boehner, then the House speaker; Representatives Mario Diaz-Balart and Carlos Curbelo; and Senator Marco Rubio.

Ms. Wilson, in an interview on Friday, called Mr. Kelly a liar and hinted strongly that the altercation, prompted by a call from President Trump to the widow of a fallen black soldier, was racially charged.

'The White House itself is full of white supremacists,' she said.

'I feel very sorry for him because he feels such a need to lie on me and I’m not even his enemy,' Ms. Wilson said of Mr. Kelly. “I just can’t even imagine why he would fabricate something like that. That is absolutely insane. I’m just flabbergasted because it’s very easy to trace.”

You would have thought with all the lies that have been followed up with facts, this administration would actually check the facts before giving a speech. I am so grateful for the press.

I wish the focus would be on the soldiers who lost their lives and what went wrong so they can try to not repeat this from happening. Trump does not understand that his feeling don't matter in this situation. The soldiers families feelings are the only ones that matter.

Trump had an interview with Fox News that aired tonight. Why on earth do they continue to stand behind Kelly's comments regarding Congresswoman Wilson when there is video tape proving they aren't being truthful? It's always Trump reaction that gets him in trouble. Why can't he just shut up.

Your media is finally picking up on an Aussie 60 mins interview with Richard Branson where he makes comments about meeting Trump which aired here a week or more ago;

"Billionaire Richard Branson told CNBC on Wednesday he met Donald Trump only once — in the 1990s, when the then-real estate tycoon was dealing with the bankruptcy of one of his companies.

Branson, founder of the Virgin Group and a supporter of Hillary Clinton's failed presidential campaign, alleged that Trump spent the meeting talking about how to destroy people who refused to lend him money when one of his companies went bankrupt.

In a "Squawk Box"interview, Branson provided this account:

"He invited me to lunch or dinner at his house, and he had just been bankrupt," Branson claimed, later clarifying he meant one of Trump's companies had filed for bankruptcy.

"I thought we would have an interesting conversation about a whole range of issues, and he just spent the whole lunch talking about five people he rung up to try to get help from ... and how these people had refused to help him and how his life's mission was to going to be to destroy these people," Branson asserted.

The White House did not immediately respond to CNBC's emailed request for comment on Branson's claims about meeting Trump and what transpired.

Branson did not provide the exact date of the meeting or identify the Trump company that he said went bankrupt.

It's well-documented that in the 1990s Trump's real estate empire was on verge of collapse. During one of the presidential debateslast year against Clinton, Trump referred to steps taken during that time to turn around his company.

Trump, on stage with Clinton, said, "On occasion, four times, we used certain [bankruptcy] laws that are there."

Further defending using bankruptcy in business, Trump said at the time, "I take advantage of the laws of the nation because I'm running a company."

During the campaign, Branson was not shy in criticizing Trump, calling the future president "irrational, aggressive" and lacking informed ideas."
