tungston?

i recently looked at an engagement ring made of tungston. im trying to get info on that metal. when i look it up the word tugsten comes up ... is there a difference with the e and the o? and what exactly is tungson?

It looks like tungston IS tungsten (in different languages?)

Note how heavy tungsten is. Some people don''t notice, but some can''t get over it. On the other end of the spectrum is titanium.

Note that it''s also impossible to resize and if you have to get it cut off then it can''t be repaired.

Bruce Boone offers one free resized ring i.e. a replacement but others don''t necessarily offer this.

My DH has a bruce boone tungsten ring with platinum inlay which he loves! It''s a bit big during the winter so he wears it on his right hand when it''s cold.

Might be worth getting slightly larger and using sizing bars?
