Does anyone have an opinion on tungsten carbide for a man's wedding band? I know someone who has one and seems to like it, but I'd love more input as I'm not very familiar with it. I know that it can't be re-sized, but my fiance does not see a problem with that. I've also read that it should not be mixed with cobalt as that can irritate the skin, but many of the sites I've seen don't go into that sort of detail about their materials. Does anyone have any recommendations on good vendors?

My son-in-law got his wedding band from Tungsten World. It had good explanations on their site. If the ring ever needs resizing, you send it in and they send you a new ring for a small charge. They had it laser engraved, too. Very nice and it is SO scratch resistant!

Ive sold tungsten jewelry since 2000 and i wear a tungsten band daily.Keep in mind that you can find tungsten bands on the internet for as little as $15.00 so don't spend a lot on it.Also keep in mind that most are comfort fit and you should go into a store and try tungsten bands on to get your exact size before ordering.
