Trump's 4 year old grandchild

I think a good way to respect children and their privacy is to repost news articles about them on discussion boards.

It is already out there thanks to all the tweeting by these so called mothers.

So we should just sweep it under the rug or respond how wrong it is.

Isn't that why you all are bringing over here every move Trump and his administration is making?

Like I mentioned on another thread (The Flynn one? I can't even remember now,) there are extremes on either end of the political spectrum, and then there are those in varying degrees in the middle like you and me and the fencepost and other posters here. Like, you're not saying anything that most here haven't already considered.

A priest once told me 'women's studies classes are dangerous." Other conservative female friends have told me I'm going to hell for about 20 reasons, mostly related to my inability to be submissive to men. UGH. So tired of being told what to think and what to do and how to feel BECAUSE i'm a woman.

Am I a real demon? In your eyes, probably. I've just left my second husband because he was a Trump apologist and I literally don't have to deal with that shit. I'm educated, I make more than enough money without him to support myself and my daughter and maintain a very comfortable life, I have dignity and self-respect, and I want my daughter to know her mother didn't put up with any misogynistic nonsense. Yup, color me a demon! Because I absolutely REFUSE to put up with the ridiculous propaganda from anyone regarding how women should live their lives (er, how they SHOULDN'T live their lives, it seems.)

Does that make me a "real demon?" I've marched, I've spoken up. I've even talked to my congressman (albeit several years ago) and expressed my dismay about some issues. Of course, I also watched him hang out on the same "yacht" as several other R's and many of their supporters/donors snorting coke and smoking j's and downing wine like it was their job. It's pretty awful watching politics on the state level here in Indiana play out. Corruption doesn't even begin to cover it. And on a local level? Yeah. Even more disappointing. I thought Chicago was bad with its mafioso and corruption 10 years ago. Sheeeeeet. Not even close to what goes on in rural town, USA.it seems pretty glam at the time, but then you realize that all kinds of souls are sold every day for votes. And they don't even cost much. Barf.

Monarch I love you. You are a strong, LIBERAL, DEMONIC female who doesn't need to deal with anyone's bullsh*t. HELL TO THE YES! :D

EDIT: G'night Kath, Elliot, and all other DEMON WOMEN out there.

I consider women to be equal to men ... does that make ME demonic too?
... Oh wait, I don't believe in demons.

Does that mean I'm going to hell?
... Oh wait, I don't believe in hell either.

Let it go Ruby. They're ganging up on you simply because you have concern for a child who is being ostracized - sick. Instead of showing concern, understanding or empathy, they become hostile - a bunch of self-righteous women.

If you're all so educated, self sufficient, confident, etc.; then why can't you take the time to see what others are saying? Why become so radical and obnoxious? Really? Are men so terrible that the mention of them gets you so riled up? Ruby is simply stating her opinion about a news article. Why all of the hate? And becoming so hateful simply because you felt that she referred to you as Liberal Women? Why? Aren't you liberal women? I just don't get it - can't you have a discussion and simply state your opinion? If you're so Pro-women then try to see the opinion of other women.

I don't know how low people will go over this because I won't even open the link you posted. Honestly posting a thread about it is just perpetuating and publicizing it, so not sure why you would post this unless it's to get a rise out of people or encourage further pearl-clutching?

Going after children is sick and wrong. I don't even know anything about Trump's son Barron because I couldn't bring myself to read about it. I have a small child. And when my husband ran for office I could barely stomach the thought of crap like this.

Why am I posting this?

To get some people on this message board out of their bubble.

They are so busy trying to find any and every tweet they can about what a demon Trump is.

Well then they need to see there are real demons out there and in this case they are a group of liberal women who are beneath contempt.

And I seem to remember a heap of conservative women on here stating they didn't want to send their kids to school if any of the children or the teachers wore Black Lives Matter T-shirts to school because they felt this was somehow dangerous to their kids, in case there were riots, protests or anything else that occurred in or outside those schools. So you are telling me when a heap of mothers feel that sending their kids to the same school as family members of a president as divisive as Trump they aren't allowed to feel what they want? Let the lack of logical thinking continue......

Wow. I was totally exhausted yesterday and went to bed early so I missed this gem of a thread. Maybe it would just have died a natural death from lack of fuel if I didn't say anything. But when I stumbled onto it...I don't even know what to say.

Nobody wants a child to suffer. I just wrote in another thread that Pricescopers seems to be animal lovers. How could animal lovers not want to protect little children? Nobody here wants any child to suffer.

Any disagreements we have are about whether Trump is doing dangerous things as President of The United States and whether we have to protest those things. To be debating who is better at protecting children seems really silly.

I don't even understand this thread.

Trump is the president of the United States. His tweets are insane, embarrassing, often contain lies, oops, sorry, alternative facts (massive voter fraud, anyone), and potentially pose international danger.

Are we implying the idiotic comments of a couple of mothers of 4 year olds are worthy of the same amount of horror? Or are we just pausing to say their behaviour is awful? Because of the comments of these two (or ten) women, are we tarring all anti-Trump voters with intolerance equivalent to the intolerance necessary to vote for a man who is happy to take away the rights of women and the lgbtq community (note: see Mike Pence) and immigrants and workers? Who has installed a white supremacist in the White House? Oh right, makes total sense.

Plus as far as I can tell, she didn't want her kid going there with him. She wasn't saying the Trump kid shouldn't go there. Maybe she's a lesbian or an immigrant and feels personally victimised by Trump. And as far as I can tell, actually, her point wasn't that he shouldn't be included in birthday parties, etc. It was that she didn't think she could deal with that, so she wasn't going to send her kid.

I've had kids in NY private schools. I've got news for you- they've got a waiting list as long as your arm (not to mention birthday party policy at that age- if there is one, the whole class is invited). So fine, she makes her decision, pulls her kid and someone else is happy to take up their place.

Who cares?

Page Six is reporting that 4-year-old Spencer Frederick Trump is the target of a boycott from some wealthy liberal New York mothers. The son of Donald Trump, Jr., is set to attend The Buckley School next year, but some moms are saying they will not be sending their children there because they don’t want interaction with Trump children!

How low can the liberals go?

Boycotting a school because of a 4 year old.

page 6 is from a notorious conservative newspaper. That said.. I would doubt the wealthy, liberal New York mothers care if Spencer Trump is at the school or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if they wouldn't like the possibility of media constantly there and their ability to live their rich lives in a convenient matter. think TRAFFIC. I think conservatives should not label all liberals as lazy a$$ed rich people, most are not rich and don't send their kids to richy rich schools.

Page 6 is gossip.. unless they post an interview or name names this is fake news.

Why do conservatives always believe hearsay, and gossip? I don't get that.

:hand: Your recollection is incorrect (at least, for my rational, as the person who started that thread). It wasn't about being 'against BLM'; it was about the appearance of promoting discrimination by the wearing of clothing that singled out one 'protected class' of people in an elementary school. I opposed the way the faculty was trying to teach diversity; not the concept of diversity.

I don't know nor care what party these parents are affiliated with, but they (and anyone who think like them) should be ashamed of themselves. Withdrawing your child because Chump's grandchild attends is no different than withdrawing because another child is black, transgender, disabled, different religion, etc. It's just promoting more divisiveness & intolerance among our most impressionable and innocent citizens.

Perhaps instead of the enrolling in pricey private school, they should consider enrolling in the community public elementary school in further protest of Trump and DeVos.

That's correct, CHUMP is the president; not his grandkids. Assign accountability where it belongs. We don't throw grandkids in jail when Grandpop breaks the law, do we?

I was carjacked at gunpoint by two young black men 15 years ago. I don't go through life assuming or judging all young black men are violent criminals. But your logic seems to make that an okay practice. That's what therapy is for - helping people deal & cope in RATIONAL ways with their experiences.

I understand that (some) people have an interest in discussing politics and that's fine, but many threads seem to be about getting a rise out of people and/or fanning the flames of sensationalized media.
I might not have interest in this thread topic, but I think it has a place here with all of the other political threads. I prefer to reduce my exposure to politics in general, so I didn't click on the links either, but I really don't see this thread as being any different than any others (except for the fact that it's on the other side of the fence of the popular opinions here).
And even though I quoted you monarch, I wasn't picking on your post in particular =) - I was just responding to the overall questioning about why this thread exists.

Man. I'm old enough to remember when it was suggested that ALL Trump posts get put into just one loooooong thread, and without the word Trumpet, please. Catty/upset/free-to-pull their kids from $$$ school moms in NYC neighborhoods, though- that is a topic that needs its very own spotlight. Did I miss where the child is aware of this happening at all? I have a five-year-old, and I can tell you that his awareness ends about an inch past his own arm.

This is pretty funny, though:

The “tolerant” left is lashing out in every way possible, but their latest target proves just how intolerant they are.

There is no diversity of thought to these women. They just live in a bubble and don’t care who they hurt.

Typed unironically (close enough), I'm sure.

The child/ren probably aren't aware of it, until someone makes them aware of it ... just like they (at 5 yrs old) probably aren't aware of abortion until they're drug to a pro-life/pro-choice rally, or discrimination until their parents or teachers practice it at home/in school.

They learn what they see, little sponges that they are.

The child is NOT being ostracized. The rich parents don't want their kids to hang out with kids they think will influence their child. Isn't that one of the reasons why the right wants school choice? to be able to have their children educated and influenced by better education and people?

Another poster stated they have been in contact with these types of rich people. so have I, I can guarantee you it's not the worry that their children will become liars, or female part grabbers, or wear their hair weirdly, it's because they want their live-in whomever to be able to pick their child up and get them to Chinese lessons, piano lessons, flute lessons, gymnastics, skating, Hebrew lessons, whatever, my grandniece goes to a school in Brooklyn that movie starts and hip hop rich people send their children to, it's a MADHOUSE of traffic, papparazzi etc.. my nephews rich wife wants her kid to go to this school, and she's Canadian, but once my grandniece can't make it to Hebrew school Im sure she will be out.. it's all about the convenience or inconvenience for the Nanny or the parents.

Rich people have rights too, they have a right to privacy, if they feel their child's privacy is going to be infringed on, off they go.. to get into these schools you have to have at least 8 - 9 million, they live in 2-100 million dollar homes.. they are famous, etc. it's a different world.

To say that poor little Spencer is being discriminated against is hardly true.

And becoming so hateful simply because you felt that she referred to you as Liberal Women? Why? Aren't you liberal women? I just don't get it - can't you have a discussion and simply state your opinion? If you're so Pro-women then try to see the opinion of other women.

Q, please get back to this thread with a tempered response when you actually get the point. God I am so sick of explaining this shit after clearly stating that I understand and empathize with the right.

Monarch - I wasn't pointing a finger at you specifically - I feel bad for what you're going through. Please know that I am not a mean finger pointer - I just wanted some of the posters on this thread to take a step back, to regroup and see what Ruby was trying to say. Instead, many of them go off on a tangent. Please don't take anything I said personally - and I am sorry if I hurt you in any way. I hope you accept my apology.

Aww, please don't feel bad! I'm in a really positive place now and am happier than I've ever been. No apology necessary; I was feeling a bit passionate about this topic last night and overreacted. So I should be the one apologizing--I'm sorry I responded to you with such vigor! :wavey:

Let it go Ruby. They're ganging up on you simply because you have concern for a child who is being ostracized - sick. Instead of showing concern, understanding or empathy, they become hostile - a bunch of self-righteous women.

Tekate,

I just want to say, I know exactly what school you're talking about. Been there, done that.

They should be on their second language by then. Slackers! :snooty:

It may be that 4 yr olds are attending a pre-K program. When mine went, it was a half day. Also, depending on the child's birthday, they may start Kindergarten at 4 if they are turning 5 in the next month or so.
