https://www.tmn.today/2017/02/liberals-new-target-president-trumps-4-year-old-grandson/

Page Six is reporting that 4-year-old Spencer Frederick Trump is the target of a boycott from some wealthy liberal New York mothers. The son of Donald Trump, Jr., is set to attend The Buckley School next year, but some moms are saying they will not be sending their children there because they don’t want interaction with Trump children!

How low can the liberals go?

Boycotting a school because of a 4 year old.

I don't know how low people will go over this because I won't even open the link you posted. Honestly posting a thread about it is just perpetuating and publicizing it, so not sure why you would post this unless it's to get a rise out of people or encourage further pearl-clutching?

Going after children is sick and wrong. I don't even know anything about Trump's son Barron because I couldn't bring myself to read about it. I have a small child. And when my husband ran for office I could barely stomach the thought of crap like this.

Why am I posting this?

To get some people on this message board out of their bubble.

They are so busy trying to find any and every tweet they can about what a demon Trump is.

Well then they need to see there are real demons out there and in this case they are a group of liberal women who are beneath contempt.

I also didn't open the links, but would suggest that I also wouldn't want my young child in school with a close relative of the most divisive and controversial president we've ever had. Talk about a target. No thanks. The parents at that school have the right to enroll or not enroll their children for any reason they want - who cares?

Because we *dare* to be posting about all the negative things Trump has done lately (e.g. today, and every day), these threads happen. Just to keep us "in line".

Yeah, because these threads are so productive.

It sure is.

It is giving me and I am sure others a sense of what some of you are really like.

So - for those who don't care to open the links, here's the first article:

Upper East Side moms are having a spirited online debate over whether to boycott a school where a grandchild of President Trump is a student.

One of the anonymous contributors to UrbanBaby.com said her son had gotten into Buckley [School], but she didn’t want to send him there because a son of Donald Trump Jr.’s (likely 4-year-old Spencer Frederick) is said to be going to kindergarten there in the fall.

“They will be in the same classroom and I don’t think I can deal with this. Birthday parties, etc.,” the mother wrote.
Another mom replied: “It’s an innocent kid. It’s not like he can help the family he was born into. The hate must run really deep with you.”

A third mother wrote: “You almost have to decline. It sounds like it will drive you crazy . . . You want to spend nine years worried that DS [darling son] is getting infected with Trumpism?”

A representative from President Trump’s office had no comment on the matter. Buckley did not respond to a request for comment.

And the second, which relies on the first:

Page Six is reporting that 4-year-old Spencer Frederick Trump is the target of a boycott from some wealthy liberal New York mothers. The son of Donald Trump, Jr., is set to attend The Buckley School next year, but some moms are saying they will not be sending their children there because they don’t want interaction with Trump children!
What kind of animals boycott a four year old? There is no diversity of thought to these women. They just live in a bubble and don’t care who they hurt. Can you imagine if this happened to the Obama daughters? We’d be hearing about what racist bullies they are, but since it’s the Trump grandchildren, there isn’t media outrage.
It all started on UrbanBaby.com when a mom said that her son got into Buckley but she wasn’t going to enroll him because of four year old Spencer Trump.
Another mom chimed in, “You almost have to decline. It sounds like it will drive you crazy . . . You want to spend nine years worried that DS [darling son] is getting infected with Trumpism?”
These left-wing moms consider a four year old to be an infection. They are targeting a poor child online and making him the focus of a boycott. They don’t want their children around him. This is bullying.
What is wrong with these New York women? Rosie O’Donnell also cyberbullied 10-year-old Barron Trump. What a bunch of limousine liberals preaching tolerance while they demean children.
Not only are these women disgusting but they are setting a horrific example for their children as the Facebook post below details.

Yes these parents (all two of them, apparently) are closed-minded and what they're saying is terrible. I disagree that what they're doing constitutes "bullying" though as the four-year-old is most likely totally oblivious to what is going on. It's unlikely the school is going to turn down the $43,000 a year (for kindergarten!) student because one or two parents object to his parentage - at least I hope the school administration has balls enough to base their decision on whatever merits are employed when deciding to enroll a 4-year old (aptitude? parental influence and donations?) rather than the kid's grandfather's name and a few disgruntled parents.

OK? There are *******s left, right, and center. Period.

First of all, where do you get the idea it was only two of them?

Second, your minimizing of this is so sad.

You all talk about being humanists and that everyone should be treated equally.

Yea, right?

But at least now I know who I am dealing with, especially the person up thread who said she would not want her kids associating with a Trump kid either.

Blah!

Ruby, Who said they didn't want their children associating with a Trump child? If you are referring to me. I had wrote that I would not want my children going to school with a Trump child based solely on safety reasons. I would probably be nervous if children in my family went to school with ANY president's children. I did not read the article you posted. Saying any of the regular posters here would be mean to a child is insulting. The reason I deleted the post is a didn't want to get in an argument with you. It's better to just ignore the thread.

See Post 4 for your answer.

And can you imagine if anyone posted that about either of Obama's daughters.

13 pages on the Trump tweet thread.

Crickets on this one.

The absence of responses tells me a lot about some of the posters here.

And safety reasons? That will probably be one of the most protected schools, along with Barron's, on the planet.

And you are concerned about getting in an argument with me. Believe me, I am one of the more reasonable people here from what I have been observing.

The sad thing is that it's doing the exact opposite- it is showing us who *ruby* is.

And that little mini rant above about "liberal women" is very telling indeed.

Keep up the personal attacks if it makes you feel better. Maybe you can stop trying to play psychoanalyst and think about why outspoken liberal women bug you to a level that sparks frequent concern in the people who post here. It's really not our problem *shrug*

Thankfully, I am as far removed from those women as humanly possible, if you can even call them human.

And when it comes to discriminating against a 4 year old, there should only be one opinion - that it is wrong.

Quoting for posterity.

They are so busy trying to find any and every tweet they can about what a demon Trump is.

Well then they need to see there are real demons out there and in this case they are a group of liberal women who are beneath contempt.

Like I mentioned on another thread (The Flynn one? I can't even remember now,) there are extremes on either end of the political spectrum, and then there are those in varying degrees in the middle like you and me and the fencepost and other posters here. Like, you're not saying anything that most here haven't already considered.

A priest once told me 'women's studies classes are dangerous." Other conservative female friends have told me I'm going to hell for about 20 reasons, mostly related to my inability to be submissive to men. UGH. So tired of being told what to think and what to do and how to feel BECAUSE i'm a woman.

Am I a real demon? In your eyes, probably. I've just left my second husband because he was a Trump apologist and I literally don't have to deal with that shit. I'm educated, I make more than enough money without him to support myself and my daughter and maintain a very comfortable life, I have dignity and self-respect, and I want my daughter to know her mother didn't put up with any misogynistic nonsense. Yup, color me a demon! Because I absolutely REFUSE to put up with the ridiculous propaganda from anyone regarding how women should live their lives (er, how they SHOULDN'T live their lives, it seems.)

Does that make me a "real demon?" I've marched, I've spoken up. I've even talked to my congressman (albeit several years ago) and expressed my dismay about some issues. Of course, I also watched him hang out on the same "yacht" as several other R's and many of their supporters/donors snorting coke and smoking j's and downing wine like it was their job. It's pretty awful watching politics on the state level here in Indiana play out. Corruption doesn't even begin to cover it. And on a local level? Yeah. Even more disappointing. I thought Chicago was bad with its mafioso and corruption 10 years ago. Sheeeeeet. Not even close to what goes on in rural town, USA.it seems pretty glam at the time, but then you realize that all kinds of souls are sold every day for votes. And they don't even cost much. Barf.

Well, Don, Jr and his wife are parents as well with feelings who are trying to protect their children and give them as normal a life as possible..

Y'all, I've personally given ruby enough attention to hopefully last her for a few hours...with all of us combined, maybe even all night!

Good night you liberal demon women!!

I think a good way to respect children and their privacy is to repost news articles about them on discussion boards.
