Trump campaign ads use Nazi symbol, FB removed ads

Because it's a red herring and an attempt to divert from the issue of agent orange and the purpose of the ad. Start a thread for the topic if you want to or address it in the anti-semitism thread. You're proving the point that people who rely on logical fallacies undermine their credibility through erred reasoning and flawed logic.

Imo you are trying to provoke to either get this thread shut down or to get admin to prohibit these types of discussions (You complain about them a lot yet still participate in them). In light of that, I'm finished addressing your illogic and hoping that others do the same.

The thread topic is about anti-semitism and symbols. That’s what I was posting about ... you & jaaron turned the discussion into personal attacks and attempting to prescribe rules for how people may discuss the topic - SSDD. Own your behavior & check your facts - I am not the reason admin has had to shut down threads recently. And I don’t complain about political threads; I occasionally opine about those with an obvious political agenda who have not resolved their feelings from 2016 - no different than those posting incessantly negative opinions about the guy who won.

Ignore me if you don’t like my views, punctuation or font choices.

Part Gypsy, your vote is YOURS, I respect and understand that and it's yours to do with what you want, I would vote for a green party candidate, but at this time, I don't feel my vote would amount to a hill of beans because - right now - America is a 2 party system and for ME only voting a 3rd party vote is a vote for Trump, now I know wholeheartedly and support and want you to vote YOUR BELIEFs, it is YOUR VOTE, I am just imparting what I think Part Gypsy and it may be worth next to nada.. Vote your conscience and your heart - one is never wrong there. Respectfully

(now if we had ranked choice voting YOUR green party vote would be worth a LOT more, we had it in Maine and it worked wonderfully..)

I would vote for the green party, if it was a viable party, because having a united action to combat and address climate change and other environmental issues is for me the most pressing issue. So for me I will vote for the candidate who (re) signs into the Paris accord. I have children. I want them and their children to have a decent future even if that means sacrifices for my generation.

HI MM, it worked beautifully in Maine (of course no one likes to lose) I don't like the electoral college (duh) because I am being governed by IMHO!! a regressive group of backwards thinkers so therefore today I don't like the EC.. but I also recognize I've lost twice under this system.. For now and probably always we are using the EC. :) peace.

Bayek, I like that idea very much for state primaries. However, I think nationally we still need the elective college.

I hear you Bayek
I would vote for Green party IF it was viable. Or like you said if we had ranked choice voting. Since we do not have that I follow my beliefs by helping those causes, and voting for the party closest to my beliefs, (which is the Democratic party at this time). Plus in general Democratic party is not actively anti science, anti evidence-based in their policy and economic proposals, which is kind of a bare minimum for any party being worth a vote. If I want to listen to emotion based arguments I'll watch a sitcom, thank you.

@jaaron The fact that the usual cast has ‘liked’ your ranting opining about my use of quotes, caps, and italics but not one - including you - has commented to acknowledge de Blasio’s blatant anti-semitism (or even refute it and why) validates my assertion the outrage is faux, and the virtue signaling is stronnnnnnnng! It is all ‘Orange Man Bad’ ... all day long.

SSDD

It really was more tilted toward opining than ranting. Note my lack of caps, exclamations, italics, etc., Although I did enjoy the usage of the bolded underline above. Might have to steal that one.

But you won't get an argument out of me on de Blasio. My general feeling is that his only true ideology is the elevation of Bill de Blasio, and that he's generally too incompetent to have a truly evil agenda, but I wouldn't put money on it. You don't have to look too deeply to see a bucketload of idiocy from him, regardless of political affiliation, mine or his. See how easy it can be?

Thank you for an awesome post P/G.. I like you want a better world for my beautiful, sweet (sort of :) ) and wonderful granddaughter, politics etc be damned, I want her to breathe and grow.. Please follow your beliefs for your family because there isn't anything else - we as mom's, grannies(me), aunts, etc (and uncles dads sorry) want a healthy, clean air world.. I vote this way.. :) thank you for sharing your thoughts.

@the-mother-thing: you are a master of whataboutery. Bill de Blasio's various statements do not disprove the fact that Donald Trump panders to white supremacists.
