Tri color rolling ring - rhodium plate? HELP

I have my moms tricolor rolling trinity ring on which the white gold ring has virtually turned yellow. I have an appointment to get the white rhodium plated tomorrow. They said they would polish the other bands so it will look all new. But should I do it? I wear it with a white gold ring so I thought it might compliment the white gold engagement ring better. But now I am nervous. Mom's ring is well over thirty years old and is not a Cartier but a handmade ring made in Woodstock NY. I think I will enjoy the look with the engagement ring which is new and shiny. Also, will the rhodium just wear off faster due to the nature of the rolling ring. Please any advice.

I know this is probably the wrong forum but I need advice tonight as I have an appt first thing tomorrow and am having second thoughts.
Thank you PSers for any input :)

I believe the white part turning yellow is because the Rhodium has worn off. So you will just be restoring the ring to is original TRI color look. Right now you have BI color! Lol.
I'm sure it will look perfect all shiny with your other ring!

Thank you Elisa. I think you are right. It will look all shiny and new with my new white gold ring. Thanks for your input :appl:
