trellis setting for an eternity band

I found an old post with a picture of a Vatche trellis style eternity ring. it was beautiful! does anyone have this? and does anyone know if it is set at the same height as u-prongs (which are generally pretty low i believe) or if the setting makes the ring less comfortable? i would be looking to purchase with 10 or 15 pointers. also wondering if there are non-designer makes of this to save money.

also, do only whiteflash and brian gavin use hearts and arrrow stones? or can i request them from any vendor mentioned on the forum?
