Hi, I've been admiring OECs for over a year and do want to buy one, however, I don't know what to look for as far as the specs for an OEC that will provide good fire, scintillation and light return. I'm more partial to OECs with the flower pattern under the table, but am not resistant to one with the checkerboard pattern either. I just don't want dark areas or fish eyes. I'm hoping someone from the trade can tell me what I should be looking for.
You might want to also peruse the old cut threads, see what strikes your fancy, then search for the specs in that user's thread to get an idea of parameters for your search. Also, perhaps specify if you want a modern-cut antique or a 'genuine' antique cut.
