Hi Pricescopers,

I'm interested in making a purchase on LoupeTroop. Although the listing is around 1 year old, I would still like to try my luck and see if I would be able to contact the seller, username 'travelist', however, I have sent several messages to no avail. Does anyone here know him/her? Am very interested in the purchase, thanks a lot!!

For a $30,000+ budget you can consider many other purchases! Just saying....

@Queenie60 Thanks for letting me know! Any ideas where I can get a super-ideal or near super-ideal at least 2 carat, no less than F color, no less than VS1 clarity, for around 30k? I thought this one fits all my bills but would be open to other suggestions!!

Hi OP - Look at the Whiteflash or CBI, and Brian Gavin - All three vendors have super ideal stones. I'm sure you will be able to find something to suit your needs. Good luck to you.

Well, this one hits your Color and Clarity requirements with just a small decrease in size (1.91 carat).

Though you could easily go down to a G color and/or a VS2 clarity to hit to carat at 30K without ever telling the difference. Like this 2.08 G/VS1:

Hi @TreeScientist, good to see you again!!:wavey:

I'm helping my mother-in-law find a diamond. Due to cultural issues, she's adamant about reaching the 2 carat mark and is also unwilling to compromise any further on color/clarity (she originally wanted D), that's why I thought the loupetroop one would be a good bet. All the whiteflash ones I've found are closer to $40k.

Yeah, it's going to be hard to meet those carat, color and clarity specs at that price in the Super ideal cut range. May be time to start scouring BlueNile and James Allen for well-cut stones that will still perform well. I'm sure there's a well-cut F VS1 out there around 30k :)

The poster on Loupetroop may have sold the ring through another medium and forgot to take the add down on LT. That happens fairly frequently.

Good luck with the search!
