I had a chance to view 2 diamonds today and I a, stuck between the 2. Both are round. One is a F Vs1 1.37 and the other a E Vs2, the jewler calls them both hearts and arrows. The settign the will be in has 2 rounds on each side .20 each. Any opinions would be appreciated.

do you have any more information on the stones?

They obviously have value, but I wouldn't buy either. A well cut 1.25 carat diamond will have a diameter around 7mm. Both diamonds are hiding weight and look small for the carat weight. Some weight is lost in the total depth and some is lost in the thick girdles. In either case, you'll be paying for diamond that no one sees. Thick girdles are also areas of light leakage. Light leaks out thru the girdle and does not get refracted back to the viewer's eye.

So i guess i should continue to look. I thought these would be fine.
