Hello Everyone,

What is your opinion in the following Diamond?

I have spent days looking at all the available options and this seemed to me like the best option. I checked it with the HCA tool and it scored 1 and excellent in all areas.

It also looked the most symmetric compared to the other options available in James Allen.
Actually this looked better than other much more expensive options.

I am afraid that it is catalogued as VS2 but I can't really tell what are the inclusions, even when enlarging the images. Is there something that will affect it's sparkle that I have missed?

It will be mounted on a solitaire (6 prong) and it is lab grown.

Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

It's getting close to a 60/60 style cut, but the arrows image indicates excellent light return.

The only inclusions that I can see are along the girdle area between the 7 and 8 o'clock positions.

This one will definitely lean towards brilliance.

Thanks! When you say it will lean towards brilliance, does it mean it will have less fire?

Thanks again!

To an extent. A crown that's a bit taller height and bit steeper angle can help provide more dispersion in direct lighting conditions, which our eyes see as fire.

Thanks! I decided on this one based on the symmetry that the diamond had. I could not find anything as good as this one, based on the pictures and the H&A images. It is the best I could find within my price range. Should I try to find something around 57-58% and a smaller carat weight (Like .8) ?

You looking in about the $2300 range?

Yes, 2200 to 2400 for the stone

I think that's a good one :)

These two caught my eye, as well. I'm picky and look through stones quickly. I don't even look closely when I'm scrolling through. I just look for stones that have a uniformly bright appearance with minimal leakage or asymmetry

Couple more. They appear nice and bright, but no hearts and arrows images to get a definitive answer on light return characteristics.
