I think they match but not on the same hand. I agree they compete with each other and too much bulk. I would wear one on each hand.

I like it and think it matches. However, I am concerned about the corners on the princes. From the photos it looks like the corners are unprotected and the diamond could chip easily. It also lookis a bit crooked in the setting (but that cold just be the photo). Also, I would worry about safety of scratching myself with that exposed princess corner.

I love diamonds and sapphires together.
Thank you. Yeah, that''s not how the sapphire would be set, we just threw a loose one in there to get a feel for how it looked, and it was hard to keep it level when trying to take pictures of my own hand (and I''m left handed, so that didn''t help when I was trying to use the camera in my "wrong" hand!) If we were going to go with the setting we''d get a diamond that fit within the confines of the bezel so there''d be no pointy parts sticking out.

I actually like how they look together. That's just personal preference I suppose. I just like the look of the alternating colors, it matches the band well. Maybe if you are concerned about your e-ring's thickness, you can have the sides shaved down a bit...? I'm not sure if that would work, but it's worth asking.
Thank you! That's an interesting idea I hadn't considered.

I also liked the suggestions from a few posters to have two smaller channel-set bands flanking the E-Ring.

This is why it's great to ask people for their opinions, you get lots of ideas you probably would have missed on your own!

I don't want to fill this page with quotes, so I'll just say that I appreciated everyone's comments even if I didn't get a chance to reply to them. A few people mentioned the thickness of both bands together possibly being uncomfortable, but I think I'm weird in that I like the presence of heavy-styled jewelry.

I did hear back from WF and they said they might be able to work something out within my budget, so I'm pretty excited about that. If WF can manage to tweak this style of ring into something a little less chunky and more elegant, I'll be thrilled. I'm just scared I'll mess it up somehow, hah.

Ah, well if you like heavy-styles, then go for it! I appreciate some extra presence, myself

And from what I have seen and read about Whiteflash, don''t worry...I have yet to see anything made by them that is anything but beautiful!

I love your engagement ring, but I don''t like the two together. I read no plain bands match the contours and varying thickness of your e-ring closely due to the stones. You have pretty and sticky fingers - try it with a wider (6-8mm) plain band. Then the difference is no so evident between these two rings.
