Hi there,

I am interested in buying a heavy-ish toggle closure chain bracelet, and am wondering where best to find them online?

There''s this one on Pearlman''s ...

but, of course, it doesn''t have the all-important toggle closure!

Has anyone got any good suggestions?

*heart*
L.

this is the kind of thing I''m looking for (from the eternal touch website

Is there something about the one you found and pictured that you don''t like? Are you looking for yellow gold, white gold, silver? Do you want a charm on it? Should the charm be a heart or circle? What price range are you looking for?

I have a David Yurman heavy link toggle bracelet in sterling and 18k yellow gold that came plain, and then I added the Tiffany & Co. Silver circle lock charm, I think total cost was around $500. Both can be found online.

blue nile has some nice ones. I''ve bought a few items of their silver before and was happy with it.

Oh, thanks for the tips! RxTech, you know, the only reason I didn't like the one I pictured was I wondering what was available in a higher k weight. Australia's default karat weight for gold is 9k.
It is a nice bracelet, though...

ETA: Just visited David Yurman, that is a beautiful website!

I love toggle closures! I''ve been looking for a long time, years in fact. This one pictured below is not chunky enough for me, but I love the concept. I want 18kt YG with diamond toggle closure. I guess I''ll have to have it made ;)

Oh yeah, I wouldn''t be happy with 9k gold either! The 18k YG with diamond toggle version is awesome!

I agree, that diamond toggle is hot, hot, HOT!!!

I don''t know why Aussie jewellers think they can get away with 9k. Almost ALL jewellery is, in all jewellers except the really high end ones. A lot of jewellers only stock 18k wedding rings as their only 18k jewels!

Australians must be difficult,(cheap) ungrateful consumers... or maybe its because our retail market is so small, and jewellers have to cut costs whenever they can.

Maybe that standard will change now, in this brave new internet shopping world!

However, this eternal touch bracelet is apparently best in 9k, because the company takes fingerprints, of either a recently lost loved one (ie when your man dies you take a fingerprint), or a child, to celebrate birth!

It''s kind of an interesting idea.
9k apparently keeps the print better over the years.
