To Ultrasonic Cleanse or not

I just got my 18k/rhodium engagement ring. I want to make sure that I am taking the best care of my new baby. I am contemplating purchasing an ultrasonic cleaner. I''m super busy and things are about to get even busier I have a few questions?

How frequently should I clean my ring?

How safe is the ultrasonic cleaner for my ring?

How frequently can you use the ultrasonic to clean your ring?

I''ve heard stuff about ammonia and white gold. Is it good or bad?

As always, thanks for your tips and advice!

You can use an US for sure. I use hot water, a few drops of dish soap and a couple spritzes of windex, never had a problem. I used to use the cleaner every day, but now about once a week. 2-4 times a week I use a baby toothbrush and some dish soap for a scrub. Keeps it looking awesome!

I have a Sonic Wave Ultrasonic CD-2800 and use it everyday. It works great and has lasted for about a year so far. I bought it on Amazon for around 30 US dollars ~ a good value.
