To spacer or not to spacer?

Hi everyone! Just got my new CvB Casablanca setting and my wedding band will the the Sophia band. There aren't really diamond - diamond friction points but there is milgrain - engraving rubbing. Do you think I need a thin spacer? Any suggestions from Etsy vendors that are affordable?

Not clear if there is diamond rubbing on anything. If there is I would get something in between but I don't like spacer. I would get another band. If there is no diamond rubbing on anything, I would skip the spacer. I would let metal wear down sing ethat is what it's for.
