IMG_0571.PNG I love marquise and round wedding bands but cannot decide if I should get it smooth, to fit the E ring better, or if I should leave it as is. Any thoughts? Does anyone have a solitaire and a stacker like this they could put next to each other? The band is coming from IDJ and I am in Australia so I can't go look!

IMG_0572.PNG Just found a similar ring on blue Nike. It is14k white gold however and my E ring is 18. I only wear my engagement ring to work (3 days a week) and I know once I have a wedding band I probably won't bother with it often. The placement of the marquise and dots is different - dot in the middle. Should i consider this one?

I'd stick with IDJ. Great people and great products.

As for whether to milgrain, I think it looks beautiful with it. I don't see a problem with your e-ring being plain and the band being milgrained.

I vote for milgrain too - I love the contrast between a smooth sleek ering and a more textured wedding band (or vice versa)

Do you like a more modern, sleek look or a more antique, old world look? Modern - go with no milgrain, antique go with milgrain.

I think either/both would look lovely with your ring. I have a smooth ering that I wear with a milgrain wedding band.

Wow, why is that so BIG???

I personally prefer the milgrain on that band!

I like the milgrain. Softens the look to my eyes.

Milgrain and smooth cann go together well - Another thing to consider is those times when you might go with just the band - with the milgrain detailing, the wedding band is nice/fancy enough to stand on its own.

I think the milgrain looks better because it helps define the shapes on the band. It also sets it apart from the ering. :)
