Alternative metals are gaining a lot of interest right now for mens wedding rings. Titanium and Tungsten are hot topics. Since we men don't know how to take care of our jewlery - it is nice to look at metals which can take abuse.
I like some of these rings - especially that mix (stripes) a little precious metals like gold or platinum into the Titanium.
My sweetie really loves the Titanium band that he wears. And it has a classy yet ruggid look about it. If you like the "lightweight" feel of rings, you will really love Titanium.
My husband has the same ring, in the polished finish. Very nice
We have found that titanium is not as scratch-resistant as we thought it would be. In fact, my white-gold wedding set has waaay less wear then my titanium band, and they are worn about equally and in the same situations. Therefore, I recommend the brushed finish titanium as it will hide the scratches better.
