Is it true that you don''t need to tip a vendor that is independent or an owner, as opposed to working for a larger company? I always heard the rule was if they made up the fee for thier service themselves then you don''t need to tip them, although tips would probably not be turned away.

Our cake baker, DOC, ceremony musician, JOP, Photograhpers, Hair stylist, videographer, and limo driver are all either the owners or are "non-professionals" (meaning, they do this type of thing "on the side" but come highly recommended). Do we tip these vendors?

Our caterer already added the gratuity so that was good.....nice and up front so we don''t have to worry about it. The only other vendor that is not an owner but works for a larger company is my florist. Do you tip a florist under these circumstances?
