I'm still trying to learn all things pearls, lol. I received this sweet little pearl bracelet [OMG!] 50 years ago. Sigh, I am ancient. Is this what is known as Tin Cup style these days?

I am not an expert, however the Tin Cup style I know has a chain in between the pearls and not solid connectors as seen in the photo.

The version as worn by Rene Russo's character in the film Tin Cup (hence the name reference) has a chain in between the pearls.

Ahh, I was going to ask why they call them Tin Cups. Thanks!

I'd call it a station bracelet.

Pearl bracelets can be used as necklace extenders, if the clasp elements interconnect. That is one use for bracelets that are too short, for example.

They sizzle when they are on screen together - it is probably my favourite Kevin Costner film!

That would probably still be called a tin cup bracelet. Most pearl station jewelry is colloquially referred to as "tin cup". It's a pretty bracelet, I hope you enjoy wearing it. :)
