I am looking for a wedding ring recently and been very fascinated by Tiffany''s elegant design.
I think we will choose a Tiffany & Co ring.
I wanna buy a ring that can easily goes with my daily cloth so that I will wear it everyday.
Milgrain,Platinum, 18k gold is just my type.
But I also thought wouldn''t this band too simple to be a wedding ring?
Or I might pick a tiffany setting e-ring, 0.38 carats is what we can afford now.
Also, Channel-set band ring firstly catching my eye seems attractive to me.
I don''t know why others can make up their minds picking a best ring since I am totally lost of ideas only at Tiffany''s, not to say if there were any other choice out of Tiffany.
So, do people here ever buy the plain wedding band as a wedding ring, or e-ring and channel set are just more appropriate as awedding rings?

There is a thread under "show me the ring" that has people''s wedding sets. Many women on here have plain PLT/gold bands as their wedding ring. It is all what you prefer. I am not sure what your budget is but you could get better quality and a larger stone if you didn''t buy from tiffany''s. Their mark-up is HUGE! You pay for the bragging rights. If that is important to you, go for it. If not many venders featured here can provide you with the ring of your dreams.

IMO, there is no such thing as 'too simple'. Most classic designs are not very inteicate anyway - just very wearable and very elegant.

Will the ring be one in yellow gold too? Like This

There are many similar elegant designs out there. Check out different websites to see that Tiffany isn''t the only store with that design.

Classic style doesn''t go out of style and can never be too simple.

Wouldn''t your gf be happier with a bigger diamond bought else where with the same amount of $$$ that you''re going to spend at T&C?

IMHO your first step is to choose the e-ring. Then both you and your fiance-to-be can choose the wedding band together to see what she likes.

Anyway, we will only buy a wedding ring no matter it''s wedding band or engagement ring or so.
sorry, I might not make it so clear.

Try this

Actually, I was wondering if these two below from the same source would not work well as a set:
