Tiffany Solitaire Comparison

I'd like to get your expert opinion on which one should I choose for a classic Tiffany setting round solitaire between these 2 specifications if the F VS1 is ~$2K more expensive.

1.08 F VS1

vs.

1.24 H VS2

How about the VS2? is it alright?

I am also considering the long-term value in case I need to "upgrade" it in the future (not sure which one holds its value better).

H is in the middle of the color chart ,and VS 2 should be eye clean.

amazing, you need to evaluate the cut first. If the H (and H is still a very white color to me, in a 1 - 1.25ct size) is as well-cut and eye-clean and it performs better then it might be the one to buy.

1st priority is cut because that is what regulates the performance
Then you can decide what how white and how clean it needs to be. And how large you can afford.

Tiffany's selects / cuts stones fairly deep. They lose a lot of the spread (diameter) they should have for their carat weight, so you pay for a 1.5 carat stone and it's really the size of a 1.35ct stone. For the price, you can do SO much better than Tiffanys.
