I am already set on T&Co so don't even try :)
I decided on Tiffany's for several reasons. #1 being, that I know my girlfriend really wants one from there. She wants something that will last the test of time. Wants to pass it on to her daughter and so on and she loves the name.

I know she is going to flip out when I pull the little blue box
THAT right there is a beautiful statement and I, just like your girlfriend want the same....................

There is nothing wrong with a girl who prefers Tiffany's over anything else along with the blue box. Tiffany's is ALWAYS worth the money to me. They have had nothing but excellent customer service and respect for me every time I walk into the store. I have always felt that you are paying for the quality and excellence of the product before paying for the name. I have been so impressed by their products and services. (and believe me, I have several of their products) Everything is incredibly durable and WILL last the test of time. If a girl feels good knowing she's wearing a Tiffany, then that's all that really matters.

You are a wonderful man to purchase something that you know she wants and will love and cherish for the rest of her life! If she wants a Tiffany, you get your girl that Tiffany ring, she will be so ever greatful!!!!!!!!

(I know I would)

And trust me, your purchase with Tiffany will be well worth every penny you spend on it! Let us know which one you decided on and good luck with the engagement!!!!!

^ thread revival... antifreeze has been gone for weeks. boo.

Are you a shill antifreeze, because your posts sound like it to me.

not at all, I''m sorry for my absence. My planned day of proposal is May 15th, so I''m still doing some research. I spoke with some people at tiffany''s and they recommended that I wait till closer to the date of purchase since a ring I pick out could be bought. My girlfriend and I are VERY close, so she will know when I spend a large amount of money, so I''ll be buying the ring in the first week of may.

I''ve taken everyone''s advice into consideration, and I will post a pic after I buy it. Once again, sorry for the absence, but I greatly appreciate all of your efforts in helping me with this purchase.

The final spec''s for the ring''s I''ll be selecting from:

Round Brilliant - Tiffany Setting

table: 54-47%
Depth: 60-62%
crown angle: 34-35%
pavilion angle: 40.6 to 41.0
girdle: thin, medium, or slightly thick
H color
VS2 Clarity
.75+ ct size.
