I was thinking a couple of things (playing a little detective here)

1) Maybe Tiffany planted it there?

2) The guy wasn't told the 6-month policy?

3) They guy let his fiance keep it, so his fiance sold it to get money for herself

4) A woman's fiance died, so she sold it

5) It was a bad breakup, so the woman sold it out of revenge without letting her ex-fiance know!!!

6) It is a fake

That is one funny looking ring. If you look at picture one, it appears that the top of the stone is narrower than the bottom. Could be the prong placement or the photo, but it looks funny.

When my FI (BF at the time) was in NYC two weeks ago picking up my Novo, he had the choice between an .61ct/F/VS1 and an .71ct/I/VS1 for the same price.
In all honesty, we had never looked at anything smaller than a .75 anywhere, but when he saw the I colour, he said he could really notice a big difference. So he went with the smaller, whiter stone.
I''m happy!! I feel like he opted to get me a better stone - even if it is a bit smaller

I would love to have that ring too!! Maybe as a big sister to mine LOL!
