I don''t know a whole lot about cushions, but this one looks like it might be nice and is in your price range. JA has a good return policy in case it doesn''t perform well, but someone at JA should be able to tell you more about its performance.

I’ll try to break down everything.
In regards with the Novo I either get the real thing or nothing, I don’t really want to buy a copy…
I managed to speak to my GF about rings without sounding suspicious, she likes the Novo and likes rings with a Princess cut, she doesn’t really like big rings and because due to her work she is not able to use the ring while at work, I want to buy her the best diamond I can, without being too big. That’s why I choose H colour and VVS clarity.
I really like the Petite Open cathedral it looks really nice. I’ll need to look for a rock to match it.
