Oh, Sundial, that's my band too! I just love it! I have worn my daily, put it in the ultrasonic cleaner every day, and never had a minute's worth of trouble with it. It is so smooth and comfy and it does add just the right of complimentary sparkle.

I hope you love yours every day just as I do - those Tiffany bands are just fabulous!

Oh MGR I am so glad you saw this. I am so happy to be your wedding band twin and I am thrilled to hear that it has held up so well for you. I was wondering if you had had any problems with the ring wearing against your three stone ring. I tried on other bands, but this one is just perfect.

Sundial, congratulations on your new band and beautiful diamond ring! It made my heart skip a beat because it looks like a larger blingier version of my original wedding set which I admit I miss (doesn't fit after 3 kids! ) I am hoping to recreate it in the future, but in the meantime...may I ask if you see any color differences between your main stone and the tiffany band? I am also thinking along the same lines. cheers

No Every time I think I'm settled on a setting I see something else beautiful and it changes my mind (a little bit).
I have to say for classic solitaire the BGD half round has been on of my top favorites..inspired by yours and a few others on PS!
Unfortunately my schedule hasn't allowed me to do much window shopping lately but I'm hoping to make a visit to BE/ERD in a few weeks as they are a PS vendor within driving distance.

I absolutely love it! The size of your diamond can definitely handle the 3mm band! There is nothing more perfect to me than a Tiffany band with a classic solitaire! I know a few others around here have found that to be true...MGR, Ame, and I all wear Tiffany bands, too!

DS you and MGR and Ame were my inspiration for going to Tiffany in the first place. I'm glad you think the size is right for my solitaire. I was leaning towards the 2mm one, but surprisingly my husband was the one who encouraged me to go bigger and I'm happy I did. I really liked the Legacy but I thought that the milgrain detracted from the sleek modern look of my setting.

I went with the 2mm bec at the time it was the perfect width for my Vatche and 2mm band. It's a hair over 2mm.

I appreciate your comments Marigold. And to answer your question, no I cannot see any difference in color between the diamonds in the band and my larger I colored stone. Good luck to you on recreating your set. My first diamond was a much smaller solitaire worn with a wide gold wedding band and now I have come full circle to a solitaire again and I love the look.

It is so hard to choose isn't it? My previous ring was a three-stone with pave on three sides of the shank that had to be worn alone. I knew I wanted something simpler this time that I could dress up or down with bands and I am really enjoying the look. Good luck to you and please keep us posted on what you decide.

I thought seriously about getting a band from Brian Gavin because I was so thrilled with my solitaire from them, but I really didn't know what kind I wanted until I tried some on and then I just fell in love with the one at Tiffany.
