Oh my gosh, that is beautiful. But sadly, I don''t have $16,000 laying around for a diamond ring. If only...

Hey, what kind of a cushion cut is that? I''ve never seen it..
Not sure. As far as I know they have a patent on it. It''s so pretty.

The cut itself is called the Legacy. It''s a proprietary T & Co. cut that has a step cut pavilian, and brilliant crown.

Kind of an asscher/cushion combination. Pretty cut!

Thanks, LaurenThePartier.
It seems pretty. I wonder how this cut performs in ASET studies...

There will always be people that are willing to overpay for the Tiffany "name".

It''s an $8500 diamond in a $2500 setting + $6K for the second hand name. Imagine how much more Tiffany wanted for the name

Its not an $8500 diamond. You cannot get that diamond anywhere for $8500. Its a Tiffany proprietary cut that has not been able to be reproduced ... yet. The whole thing could be *loosely* copied & someone could get a far inferior version of that ring ... but they''d be hard pressed to get even THAT under 16K. Sorry, I think its a great deal!

I can''t help wondering what circumstance made this ring available.

Yes, I do. That ring does nothing for me. I thought the original price was super insane. I''ve seen much nicer rings owned by PS''ers made by various vendors.
