There will always be people that are willing to overpay for the Tiffany "name".

It''s an $8500 diamond in a $2500 setting + $6K for the second hand name. Imagine how much more Tiffany wanted for the name

Its not an $8500 diamond. You cannot get that diamond anywhere for $8500. Its a Tiffany proprietary cut that has not been able to be reproduced ... yet. The whole thing could be *loosely* copied & someone could get a far inferior version of that ring ... but they''d be hard pressed to get even THAT under 16K. Sorry, I think its a great deal!

Yes, I do. That ring does nothing for me. I thought the original price was super insane. I''ve seen much nicer rings owned by PS''ers made by various vendors.
