Are Tiffany Diamonds the best quality diamonds you can find?

no, but they aren't dogs either. they say tiffany's sells in the top 10% of the best cut diamonds. pricescopers are a picky bunch who like to find diamonds that are in the top 2%. can you find the top 2% at tiffany's too? yes, but you'll pay the tiffany mark-up when PS vendors can get you the same if not higher quality for less. that said, tiffany's is about the experience,not just the cut so if it's the experience you want than Tiffany does fit that bill nicely.

tiffany's does have two patented shapes you can't get elsewhere, the legacy and the lucida.

No they''re not the best and they''re not the worse. If you post in the search box above there are lots of posts in relation to this topic. Personally the reason why I went with Tiffanys is that I wanted a lucida and as Mrssalvo posted above, it''s a patent cut so I couldn''t get it anywhere else. In saying that, my ring is so sparkly and firey that I adore it and haven''t regretted my decision once. In fact I think I love it more and more each day.

I''ve learned that you can get better(and worse) diamonds and MUCH better deals elsewhere. Tiffany''s is Tiffany''s though, you get much more than just a diamond. And not to impune anyone elses'' settings but you really can''t compare anything out there with a Tiffany''s design... They are exquisite and breathtakingly beautiful. THere are a lot of replicas but there is nothing like the real thing.

My selling point with Tiffany''s too is that my boyfriend and I are not diamond savy and Tiffany''s does all the work of finding a quality diamond for us.

Like bee I''m getting it at Tiffany''s because I want the Legacy and it''s patented.

T&Co. have great designs..., but some other jewelry houses can easily compare with their designs..., (in my opinion at least...)

Thats the only place to put your hands on the Legacy..., Thats one of T&Co''s strengths...
