Tiffany & Co Prices

I have been on the phone to Tiffanys getting some prices as I''m flying into Sydney on Friday to view some of their to purchase a replacement engagement ring. Yes, I know there is a premium on them, but after owning several pieces I cannot fault their customer service or quality, and we are limited in choice in Oz. I tried to go down the PS advice and buy from GOG etc but husband wont hear of it, plus our Aussie dollar is shocking at the moment.

Here are some prices I have been given: (all prices AUD - exchange about AUD$1 to US 0.72 i think)

Tifany Legacy:

.94 ct H, VS2 centre AUD $21,000
.96ct I, VVS1 AUD $20,800

Tiffany RB

1.56ct, I/SI1 $25,700
1.40ct H/VS2 $24,000
1.21 ct I/VS1 $17,300
1.12 Ct H/VS2 $17,000
1.09ct I/VS2 $16,800
1.10 ct, G/VS1 $21,800

Interesting to see that they quoted me alot of I colour??? I told them my budget was $15-20K - obvioulsy they are trying to get me a bigger size for my budget. I am looking really for F/G.....they dont really have much stock they said....

I will be interested in hearing others comments

Just keep checking back with them. We had to wait a couple of months to find the perfect ring in our price range. The prices quoted seems about right though.

Just out of curiosity... is there a premium for Tiffany''s being an imported product?

Those prices (to me) seem shocking. Higher than in the US stores. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Why wouldn't they have lots of F and G? I don't know. This is Tiffany. It seems like they would.

Apparently they are running low on stock; thats what the SA - I rang the Brisbane city store and they had NOTHING in Lucida or Legacy between $15-20K at all!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking maybe because of the economic crisis stock is being kept minimal, as sales are declining?????

Yes there is convert the prices from the US website to the AU website and you can see .

I was in the Brissie store on Friday night and it was packed

I was in the Atlanta store on Christmas Eve, and the customer beside me was being shown a Legacy in J color. I thought I had read Tiffany did not carry J color, so I found that curious.

in US, last week i checked, 1.5 F VS2 is $25xxx, and 1.5 F SI1 is 20XXX
