Strm,

1. What is a corporation besides an organisation of people? Has anyone bumped into an entity named ''Tiffany?''

2. Have you seen Tiffany''s Blue Book?

corporation n. A body that is granted a charter recognizing it as a separate legal entity having its own rights, privileges, and liabilities.

I shared a pizza with a gal named Tiffany does that count? Did her parents rip off tiffany?

Yes...
I am making a metaphysical (philosophical) point, not a legal one. And, yes, I understand the legal definition of a "corporation" perfectly well.

My only contribution to this discussion is that it goes both ways - Tiffany lovers need to realize it is not the "be all and end all" for every single consumer, and that many don't want or don't choose Tiffany for numerous reasons.
I had never been in a Tiff's until one opened in my city earlier this year, and I was entirely underwhelmed (esp. for the crazy prices).
"Tiffanyornot" - not everyone likes a T's replica setting, let alone the real thing.
I get so tired of hearing Tiff proponents claim ppl bought elsewhere because they couldn't afford Tiff, would rather have Tiff, ad nauseum..*sigh*

However, I can definately give credit where credit is due, and say they make some lovely pieces. But you won't find this one buying at retail..

Some people love it and some people don''t. Each to their own. Personally I got my ering there. I got it in the NY store and the prices there were similar for a non-Tiffany ring back home in Ireland. I absolutely adore it and have so many compliments about it. That said, if I could have gotten a lucida cheaper elsewhere, I would have saved the money!! I''ve only been in Tiffanys four times and from what I''ve seen and from the ring on my finger, I think that their designs are beautiful and I don''t see why people have such a problem with them. Most people know that they pay a premium if they shop there, so if they''re happy with that, then let them at it. So while Tiffany lovers need to realise that not everyone thinks they''re fab, it does go the other way, and if people want to think that they''re are amazing, just let them. If they feel happy leaving with their beautifully wrapped box, who is it hurting.
