Ooooooh. My favourite topic. hehehe. Even though I could never justify the money for Tiff''s (unless the person purchasing the ring considered that kind of money couch change) I love:

You can''t go past a classic:

The rectangular Lucida

Emerald-cut three-stone

Oooh that was fun. How bout Cartier and the rest?

I like the first one the best. There is something about the pave set stones that I love.

Thanks katbadness! That is very pretty. But it seems to have the Frankenstein bolts for the surprise diamonds that I don''t care for.

Hi,
Tiffany also carries the diamond with channel set band & diamond with shared-prong set band. I was told that they are discontinuing the shared-prong set band & resetting all of their diamonds into the channel set band as the channel set band is becoming more popular than the shared-prong band. I''m not sure if this would affect anyones decision on buying their shared-prong setting but just in case you didn''t know.

me three - legacy is the only generic diamond ring i''d choose at tiff''s (THO i did see an amazing PINK radiant diamond at the store in NYC for over $2mil - it was so sparkly under their lights!)

i was also surprised to see there''s different band styles for the legacy - some bands flare out where the sides meet the diamond & others remain skinny pave...

I just love the Tiffany setting, it is just so understated; a classic beauty. I plan to propose with it next year, after I saved up enough to afford a 1c diamond with decent colour.

in the mean time, I am going to get this as a promise ring:

elsa peretti design from Tiffany, platinum, 0.02 diamond. £425 ($765).

what do people think?
