Hello dear PSers,

Hope you are all having a great weekend! I found 3 cushions on JA with very low clarity. I would like to see your thoughts on stones' light performance and if the inclusions will have positive impact. I appreciate your advice a lot!

Not knowlegable enough to comment on your question. But i love the facet pattern on all 3. and for earrings or a pendant, the inclusions might not bother me too much.

The inclusions are not distracting - cosidering the real size of everything, & they are beautiful revivals of early brilliant cuts...

If you only need one, the last 0.73 seems best - the feather in the table is certainly subtle, the mark on the girdle, not a problem given girdle width there, the stone is bright & the largest of the three; the 0.72 is next - just because it is smaller [perhaps brighter], the E is smallest, but seems interestingly bright in the video [not in the shot chosen for the still].

A pleasure to see these!

Seeing the bulk of clarity characteristics just in the middle of the table makes an impression - esp at 10X or so as they are shown, but they do not reflect from this position. I do not expect to see the minute pinpoints or the feather IRL.

[now that I am thinking, I am most intrigued by the E - because of how its cut works: there is strong flash in the video, only in movement, of course - a right - left - right movement over 90 degrees total]

I love the facet pattern on all of them. But in terms of inclusions being distracting, I think the best choice is the third one.

And although I like the facet pattern of the 2nd one, I worry it might "go dark" too much in the center.

I agree with @lovedogs . I think the third one would be my choice...then the second one. I would not consider the first stone. Too many inclusions plus
straight on it has a big black bow-tie.

Nice! I love the facet patterns! 3 and 2 are gorgeous, 3 may be your best value and the largest but I like the shape on 2 as well.

Hello all thank you so much for your input! I asked JA for aset image and they only have it for the 0.6. I want to share it with you. I know a lot of us like to see aset images :) I feel this one is interesting because of the bold facets is intriguing to me but I agree that the bow tie is a concernA265C014-DAE8-4448-8CAE-0D02D1C0E2DF.jpeg

With regard to clarity, I don’t have a problem with any of the diamonds. My eyesight is not so good and YMMV, but I don’t believe with the size of the diamond plus all the chunky light play you are going to notice any of those inclusions.

I love the color of the E but not the facet pattern. The two Fs are pretty to me, I like both. I guess if I had to pick I’d choose 3, for the pattern and the larger diameter.

The .60 is the worst of all - will have a big bowtie! I'm afraid once you mount in a ring, the diamond may always look dark.

The .71 F SI1 will have the best brilliance and least visible inclusion.

The .72 F I1 has the biggest spread but the inclusion is strong and the stone windows out along the sides, so it's not going to perform with as many big, bold flashes of light as the .71 F SI1 will.
