I havent been able to take a decent picture of the ring itself that was just finished but for now, here are the CAD drawings. It is a 1.17 Center, Excellent Cut, H, VS1. The sides are .5 each (one is my grandmothers and the other is my great grandmothers engagement stones). The ring is 14k White Gold.

Thanks! The actual ring is more rounded on the sides and obviously the prongs are smaller. Also, from the sides you can see the sides of the diamonds

The ring was made by a small, local jeweler in Seattle, WA. They did a great job making the ring! I will try again tonight to take some clear pictures of the ring!

I know! I was so amazed they were so close. One is SLIGHTLY larger than the other but unless its a photo super up close you cannot tell at all

It looks like the side stones are in a 3 prong setting - is that right? That is VERY cool! A great story, a great look - a true winner.

Thank you everyone! Brellamom, the side stones are in a three prong setting, I thought they looked better that way! Next step is asking for her dads permission tomorrow! (Know him really well so not worried about him saying no)

Thank you everyone! Since I put so much time into designing the ring, etc. I have been really worried she wont like the style but this has given me confidence! We are both young (just graduated from college and going back to school) so she is not expecting much. In fact, she even offered to pay for her own .25 carat ring! So I am hoping this ring of just over 2.7 Total Carat Weight will shock her!
