Hi All!

My partner and I are getting close to picking a diamond for our engagement ring... yay! :appl: I would love to hear your thoughts on one of the contenders... It is a 2.25 carat round.

I don't have pics unfortnately, but we have seen the diamond in person. It is (to us novices at least!) eye clean and sparkly. Are there any red flags here that we should think about?? Would love to hear your thoughts... have learnt so much on this forum!! It is such a spectacular resource, just so glad that I found it in time!

Thanks all for your help!! :twirl:

Ooops I forgot to add - there is a note on the GIA certificate saying that "clouds are not shown" and "pinpoints are not shown"... is this a worry...?

Numbers look promising. Clarity should not be a problem as it is not stated that the inclusions are grade setting, so at worst a VS2 or better. Maybe get an independent appraiser if you are still worried.

Is the stone eye clean? I would check that first before making large such purchase
