Thoughts please!

Commenting here to bump your post, I'm not much help with fancy shapes but the ASET looks pretty good, IMO.

Full disclaimer - I am no expert. The ASET looks ok to me but in the video the centre looks a little dark?
 
I like it. Nice strong pattern with crisp facets and good light return. I think I'm struck by the clear depth of the stone. It looks a lot like an OMC in overall look. I like that, personally. I think it will be very pretty and quite a presence on your girl's hand.

I like the Petite Pave Cathedral setting from JA for cushions (just make sure they make the prongs delicate). The Petite Pave Crown is also pretty, but I'm not sure if it will allow a flush band (you'll have to ask if that is important).

The ASET is very nice - I'd say a solid A- . Does have some extra contrast under the table why is why I might not put it at an A. I also just want to put this one out there since they're harder to come by, although I'm not sure what your budget is...it's an H&A cushion so it has the performance of a round (and slightly better spread than your pick) with a cushion outline.
